Laser Cataract Surgery

Laser cataract surgery uses laser-generated light to create blade-free corneal incisions tailored to your eye's unique characteristics. Procedures are performed at an ambulatory surgery center using topical eye-drop anesthesia, with an anesthesiologist present in the operating room.

Common Questions

Is LASIK or PRK right for me?

Both correct myopia, astigmatism, and farsightedness. LASIK creates a corneal flap and recovers faster; PRK removes a thin epithelial layer instead and may be recommended for thin but otherwise healthy corneas.

What is the EVO ICL?

The EVO ICL is an ultra-thin implantable collamer lens placed behind the iris, correcting high degrees of nearsightedness and astigmatism. It does not correct presbyopia.
