She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Santa Maria School of Dental Medicine in 2004, completed a two-year pediatric dentistry residency in 2007, and earned her DDS with honors from the University of the Pacific Arthur Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 2012. She has also served as an assistant professor teaching removable and restorative dentistry, and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
