The Yorba Linda clinic at 4973 Yorba Ranch Road, Suite D is led by Dr. Ajay K. Sawhney, D.C., a 2000 graduate of Southern California University of Health Sciences who also holds a bachelor's degree in psychobiology with a neuroscience emphasis and a master's in acupuncture and Oriental medicine. His own nine-month battle with positional vertigo and tinnitus — and the chiropractic care that finally brought him relief — is what inspired him to open Divine Spine.

The EVA system is the centerpiece of the practice. Dr. Sawhney has found computerized adjustments to be more precise and gentle than traditional techniques — there is no popping or twisting of the spine. The office notes the method is comfortable enough for pregnant patients, children as young as two months, and people with osteoporosis. A first appointment typically runs 30 to 45 minutes and includes a thorough spine evaluation, X-rays if needed, and a personalized treatment recommendation; typical care programs run between 6 and 12 weeks.

Common Questions

Does the computerized adjustment hurt?

The office describes the computerized system as very comfortable — a gentle percussion that doesn't irritate surrounding tissue. Patients with arthritic joints or acute injuries may feel mild discomfort as scar tissue is worked through, but the approach is designed to be far gentler than traditional adjusting.

What happens at the first visit?
